When my family immigrated to Buffalo in the early 90s, I felt lost and confused, struggling to connect with my new reality.

Years later, I found myself at Canisius University where a caring professor connected me to an internship that changed my life.

Without knowing it, this internship made me one of the first people in Buffalo--and the US--to work as a search engine optimization (SEO) expert!

I went on to spend nearly 20 years in senior executive corporate roles at Buffalo's most prominent marketing agencies, managing large digital marketing and analytics teams across the US.

In January 2020, I left corporate to join Canisius University as a full-time marketing professor with one goal in mind: to democratize my digital marketing and SEO knowledge to the next generation so more businesses could benefit from it.

I love what I do. Every year, I catch myself crying as my students walk across the graduation stage, armed with real-world experience and industry certificates.
